Examinations

The Institution's examinations are held once a year worldwide, normally on the second Thursday and Friday in March. The IFE Examinations support candidates in gaining membership of IFE in the different grades. They are also recognised in many countries as showing academic attainment in Fire Engineering.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Only fully paid up members in the appropriate grade may apply and sit the examinations, and the applications must be returned by 31st October (overseas candidates). Applications received after these dates will not be accepted. Examination fees will not be refunded.
