Professor Jose Torero worked closely with senior QFES fire engineers in formulating and finalising this proposal, which has also been developed in conjunction with international academic institutions to produce world-best practice.

The UQ CPD course will run in January 2018 and is now open to applicants until 8 December 2017.

Details of the CPD course can be found at http://www.civil.uq.edu.au/fire-externalspreadcpd

The Hon. Terry Mackenroth, Independent Chair of the Taskforce, strongly suggests that fire engineers within our membership complete the course, enabling industry to satisfy a growing demand for this level of expertise.
