Registration is Now Open IFE22 Conference

 

Join us in Adelaide on 23-26 August as we explore topical fire safety matters not only relevant to Australasia, but also with an international perspective.

Registration is now open for the IFE22 conference at AFAC22 which will be held at the Adelaide Convention Centre (ACC) in August 2022. The IFE22 Conference will again align with the AFAC22 powered by INTERSCHUTZ Conference & Exhibition.

IFE Australia will be hosting a four day program from Tuesday 23 to Friday 26 August, 2022 at the ACC.

Delegates registering for any or all of the above IFE events will qualify for CPD points. Please note that you must select the IFE conference option when registering to attend the IFE conference to qualify for CPD points. IFE conference registration also allows you access to other conference streams and the trade show & exhibition.

 

Day 1 (23 August – Tuesday)

Training Day with MFS Firefighters

Time: 8:30am – 3.30pm

Venue: Angle Park Training Centre. Two busses will depart from the MFS HQ on 99 Wakefield Street at 8am sharp.

A training session at the MFS Training Centre at Angle Park for fire safety engineers and other fire safety professionals. This would involve several small activities in which delegates would participate in full firefighting gear alongside trained fire service personnel to understand the relationship between fire service operations and modern building design and construction.

Spaces are only limited to 40 participants (20 per bus). All 40 participants will be wearing firefighting uniform when participating in activities with only 24 delegates who are able to wear breathing apparatus and participate in certain activities due to the limited availability of breathing apparatus. Therefore, first in best dressed. All participants will need to bring a change of clothes.

Morning tea and lunch will be provided. Busses will depart the Training Centre at 3.30pm to the MFS HQ. All other details will be provided upon registration.

Professional Development Program (PDP)

Lithium Ion Battery Fires – Challenges and Opportunities. Hear from various subject matter experts on Lithium Ion Batteries. Program will be available soon.

Time: 8:30am – 5pm

Venue: Adelaide Convention Centre
